Leverage the World to Create Wealth

Two questions many Christians have regarding building wealth in the stock market is, “How is building wealth in the stock market Biblical?” and “Why should we strive to build wealth through stock trading?” When they think of the stock market, greed and deception come to mind. We know, as Christians, we are told not to be conformed to this world, but the Bible also gives us examples of how to leverage the world to create wealth, and scripture lets us know why it’s important for Christians to build wealth. The God of the universe gave us a formula for how wealth is created and informs us on how to handle that wealth.

The How:
The concept is throughout the Bible, but one example is “The Parable of the Talents”. In this passage we learn about financial leverage in earning off the efforts of many other people, and that’s how wealth is created. TRADEway applies this biblical concept as we teach you how to leverage the people on Wall Street, some of the smartest minds in the world about money. You can leverage their mind. You can leverage their money. You can leverage their time. We teach you how to leverage the world to build potential wealth for your family.
The Why:
Matthew 5:14 states, “You, God’s children, are the light of the world. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hid.” We are supposed to be people of influence. Without wealth, we have very little influence in the world. If we are born again and in the Word of God, we are gaining wisdom, yet the world will not listen to us. In fact, it will despise us and our words won’t be heard. If we want to have influence in this world, we must create wealth, because the world values wealth.
If the enemy can place in our minds that we should be materially poor, what are we going to do as Christians? Scripture has been very clear. In order for us to be able to have influence, we must build wealth. We can leverage the world to create wealth that will, in turn, positively influence the world.

4 Ways To Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is

There is not one believer who would say it’s not a good thing to trust God with our money. We’re supposed to trust God with our finances. But we cannot say we trust God with our money, then choose not to tithe.

There are various opinions on how much we should tithe. Some people believe it is a strict 10%, but others believe the principle is more about generosity. Wherever you land on that spectrum, we should be giving something back to God. If we can’t even give God a portion, a small part, on a regular basis, we are allowing our actions to express our true opinions. The idea that we need to “make more” before we can give is foolish. It does not follow the biblical principle God has established in HIs word.
There has to be an expression of faith when it comes to our money. If we want God to trust us with more, we need to trust Him with more first. If we expect to see increase, we must trust God. Tithing is one simple area in which we can show our trust in God.

Importance of Pattern Recognition

One of the most important things you will ever learn in your journey of becoming a profitable stock trader is recognizing good patterns.

Being able to recognize good patterns is essential to getting the math in your favor. It’s the foundation of how we approach a trade.
What is it that is so important about a pattern?
  • The dictionary defines a pattern as something that is repeatable. When you see a clear pattern, you can see what it has done and predict what it could do in the future, if the pattern continues.
  • A good pattern will suggest to us a good spot to enter the stock, and a good spot to exit the stock.
Utilize this simple but powerful tool, and it can completely change your ability to be profitable in the stock market.

Living for Jesus in Raising Kids

In order to live for Jesus while raising your children, you have to walk with Him.

As you go about your day with your kids, bring Jesus into every conversation and every interaction. That makes the strongest impact on kids. Allow them to see through your daily life that Jesus is right there beside you.
In everything, there is an opportunity to teach your children about Jesus.
Nature
When you are looking at insects crawling on the ground, or when your family sees a pretty sunset, talk about how wonderful the Creator is.
Emotions
When you are feeling down, talk about what it means to rejoice in the Lord always. When the family receives great news, thank God for his grace and favor.
Family Dynamic
When you, as a parent, make a mistake, openly ask God’s forgiveness, so that your kids learn to do the same. Then be thankful for that forgiveness and turn away from whatever sin you confessed. Even when dealing with discipline, discuss what the Bible teaches.
The more you talk about Jesus in your home, the more questions your kids are going to ask. When you lay down at night, you’re going to have a strong desire to open your Bible and seek answers for your kids, and you’ll become a much stronger Christian through that.
Children are awesome at challenging parents to seek a closer walk with the Lord. It all comes very naturally if you just wake up in the morning with the commitment to walk with Him each day.
Children are like sponges. They soak up their environment. Make sure the environment you’re raising your kids in is saturated with Jesus.

Over-Analysis Paralysis

Anytime you make a big, important decision in life, you want to spend some time thinking and praying about it. However, at some point you do have to act or you’re going to miss that opportunity.

As a trader, you have to understand that action becomes very important. Many times, there are going to be terrific opportunities that present themselves. You have to make the choice to act on the knowledge and training you have received.
You may begin to overthink everything at a time that you should simplify the process. Do not over-analyze. Keep these basic tips in mind:
  • Start with market tone. Make sure you understand what the market is doing.
  • Look for individual stocks that have patterns that line up with the overall movement of the market.
  • Once you find a stock that’s at a good buy point and lines up with the market tone, you have the three legs that you need for the trading table. So go in to your broker, push those buttons and get into that trade.
One of the worst things a trader can do is become paralyzed by over-analysis. Use what you have learned. If you do not put to use the skill sets you have learned with TRADEway, you stunt your potential for growth.

Reach Your Goals By Getting Better At Trading Smaller

Get better at trading smaller and build up your confidence, so that you get momentum moving forward.

Start with trying really hard to make $100 on a trade, because if you can make 100 with one contract, if you do the exact same thing with 10 contracts, you would make $1,000. If you did the exact same thing with 100 contracts, you would make the $10,000 you desire.
If you aren’t in a position to make $100 with one. then what makes you think you’re ready to make $10,000 with 100?
What you will find is that if you consistently make money, month after month, with a few contracts, you will naturally be inclined to trade with more. You are building positive momentum. This is the way to reach your goals. Get better at trading smaller.

I Had To Redefine Success As A Stock Trader

How often do you approach a trade with a “win or lose” mentality? What does it do to your psyche? You’re setting yourself up for an emotional struggle that will affect your productivity. It may even cause temptation to break your own trading rules.

You must change the definition of success.
Usually a trader will define success as “making money”.
A good trade is one that you do according to your system.
Did you stop out? That was a good trade.
Did you take your profits when you were supposed to? That was a good trade.
When you begin to think this way, you have a way of making a trade a good trade every time, even if it doesn’t do what you want it to. Even if every trade isn’t profitable, there’s something in your head that will flip when you do this.
When you stop thinking about a trade going against you as a “loss” and you start to look at the fact that you’ve traded your system as a good trade, something in your psyche will flip.
You have to change the way you think about a stop out. If you can’t stop out, you won’t be a trader for very long. Change your mind.

Make Time For His Presence

It has been said that one of the hardest places in the world to be a Christian is America. At first, you might think, “Well, I don’t see how that could be true,” but consider a different angle.

One of the things we have here in America is abundant blessing. Any time God’s people are in abundant blessing, there is a possibility that we will get distracted from pure and simple devotion to Him. The Bible says in the New Testament that we should have a pure and simple devotion to Christ.
As Christians, we must take time out of each day to engage with God. We must seek to be in His presence in some meaningful way. There is a powerful and a cumulative effect on our hearts, souls, even our bodies, as we spend time with the Lord.
Psalm 91:1 says, “He who abides in the secret place will rest under the shadow of the Almighty.” Make time, in an abundant and busy world, for seeking God, so that we can rest under His shadow and walk in His favor.
