Foster Kids’ Entrepreneurial Spirit

Most people envision their children being highly successful. Consider these three personality traits you can encourage in children at a young age that will foster their entrepreneurial spirit.

Boost their creativity.
One characteristic all entrepreneurs possess is creativity. Give your child the space to find creative solutions to problems. Encourage them to share how they created various crafts, found new ways to use toys or solved a problem. Allow them to struggle and arrive at a solution on their own. Building their ability to problem solve, in a creative way, will help them to be successful in every area of life, including creating their own product to sell or beginning their own company.
Build their self-confidence.
Children become interested in the smallest things, that we often find boring. Have you ever noticed that your kindergartener wants to read the same book to you repeatedly? It is because she feels confident. No matter how many times you’ve heard Green Eggs and Ham, smile and be thankful that your child wants to read it for the 85th time. It is a sign that she values the feeling of confidence and wants to be successful. Also, have you ever watched a child try a new sport for the first time? It is likely that they repeatedly looked to you for encouragement. Mastering a skill builds self assurance, but before they have achieved mastery, children need to be edified. Find the balance between uplifting your child by praising them for their strengths and challenging them to try new things. Most importantly, teach them that God created them for a purpose and gave them talents that will help them achieve His goals for them.
Encourage them to make decisions.
Decision making comes naturally to a child. By the time your little one is two years old, they begin to voice an opinion. With many of the parenting philosophies that are becoming more popular, children are not encouraged to make decisions and experience the consequences of those decisions. Children know how to make decisions, but they need to be taught the ‘cause and effect’ relationship involved in decision making. That can only be done by allowing them to make decisions for themselves and experience what takes place as a result of those decisions. The size of the decision should correlate to the age of the child. Teach toddlers to make decisions by offering choices such as two clothing options for the day. Allowing your child to experience natural consequences when decisions are made is important. If your toddler chooses shorts on a cool day, they may be a little cold, but they will learn the importance of checking the weather before making that decision again. This teaches children to be less impulsive and more calculating when making decisions. It also teaches them how to seek council from someone they trust and view as successful. By the time your child is in high school, they will be making decisions that greatly impact their future. If you began allowing them to build their decision-making skills while they are young, you can be reassured they are much more likely to be successful. By the time they own their own business, they will know how to consider all options and prayerfully make a decision.
The thing all three of these characteristics have in common is that they are natural traits each young child possesses. Parents simply need to learn how to continue to encourage children to develop these skills. Encourage creativity, be uplifting to your child, and help them build decision making skills. These positive personality traits will help them to be successful throughout their lives.

Working In God’s Family Business

Through scripture, God allows His people to see that He wants us to be successful and unified. He wants that for our nation, our churches and our family businesses as well. He wants to bless Christians. Just as He told Israel in the Old Testament, they would be punished if they did not follow Him, but if they chose to live according to his Word, He promised to unify them and bring them to the promised land.

This concept is the same with your family business. God will bless your family business if you do what you are supposed to.
Responsibility of Believers
God is sovereign, but the Bible also teaches responsibility. God wants you to take responsibility, follow Him and live by His Word, and if you do that He will step closer to you than you have ever felt him. You will never be a millionaire as a Christian until you learn to do the things God commands.
Reliance On God
God won’t let you do it by yourself. He doesn’t want you to go off and be a self made man or woman. The world does it that way, because they have Lucifer. Satan did it, but they think their accomplishments are their own. When you strive to build a business on Biblical principles, you can rely on the promises of God.
Respect for His Sovereignty
You, as a Christian, know who is responsible when you are successful. It is God . He works with you and through you. The accomplishments are so much more fulfilling when you acknowledge that Almighty God has blessed you and your family. When you maintain respect for His sovereignty and serve Him using the wealth you have built, He will continue to bless your family business.
When you work in God’s family business, you understand your responsibility as a Christian, you learn to rely on God rather than yourself, and you respect His role as your heavenly father. When you work in God’s family business and follow His principles, you receive unimaginable reward.

Let the Lord Lead You

Allowing the Lord to lead your life is one of the greatest blessings and joys that you have as a believer. So, how do you allow God to lead?

There are two lifestyle habits that promote God’s leadership in your life:
Expose yourself to the word of God all the time.
The Bible says ‘let the Word of Christ dwell in you richly’. Allow the Word of God to fill your home, fill your life, fill your mind, fill your mouth. It is not just memorization. Pursue the presence of God. Get to know the Holy Spirit and the ways that He wants to direct your life.
Stay connected to a community of Bible believing, faithful and risk taking believers.
You want to fellowship with people who have a solid foundation but are willing to step out when they feel the unction of the Holy Spirit leading them into the next thing. You want to surround yourself with others who will encourage you to submit to God, even when there is risk involved.
In life, and in business, success comes when you allow God to lead.

How Bible and Business Mix

At TRADEway, we are a group of believers, trying to train other believers how to multiply their money and use it to do incredible things for God’s glory. We want to teach them how they can change their financial situation in a way that would benefit their families, their churches, and their communities. We are a Christian business.

People have an idea that Christians shouldn’t deal with money. Yet Jesus talked often about money. Why would we not want to have a business that is set up to encourage Christians and provide education for Christians in the world of finance? TRADEway is filling a gap in Christian education.
We strive to teach Christians what they can do to potentially make their money grow. This is something many people do not understand. As we teach people how to make money with their money, we also want to share biblical principles that help them in many areas, including family, business and finance.
Check out what TRADEway has to offer. You may find something of value to you.

This is Why Working with Your Family is BEST

Our nation has bought into a new way of thinking regarding business. We have strayed away from the business principles that were followed when our nation was founded. These new principles do not create the potential for generational wealth.

The Wrong Way:
We’ve been taught to send our children off to college to learn to do something that no one in the family has ever done, to be taught by people who don’t love them, then go and work in a corporation for someone who doesn’t love them. In fact, most managers do not want you to become more successful than they are, so they are not willing to teach you everything they know. When we spend so much time learning a new skill set and working for someone else, we have very little to show for a lifetime of work.
The Wealth Building Way:
This country was founded on family businesses. We should save enough to start a family business, then we can begin to teach our children the skill sets that we learned. They will have their own bright ideas to combine with our original ideas. They will then teach those to the third generation, and each new generation can combine their talents and ideas to create a successful business with a competitive edge. That is what will create the potential for generational wealth.
We should not blindly follow what society now accepts as normal. We need to use a tried and true format that has the potential to create generational wealth for our families.

Keys to Transformation: Think Something New

Thoughts create emotions that elicit a physical response. If you look at that chain reaction, what you think has everything to do with your actions. One essential key to transformation in any area of life is to change your thought process.

The Bible shows us this in Romans 12: If you want to transform your life, then you have to renew your mind.If you want to do something new, you have to think something new.
Think Godly Thoughts
The most important aspect of changing the way you think is setting your mind on things of the Lord. You cannot afford to have a thought in your mind that is not in God’s Word. The way you do this is by meditating on His word daily. We are called to hide His words in our hearts. The Bible goes on to draw the connection between our thoughts, our hearts, and our actions. If we focus on Godly thoughts, reassure ourselves with the promises found in His word, and rid our minds of fear, which is of Satan, then our actions will change.
Visualize Success
There have been countless books, articles and studies written about the power of visualization. Have you ever tried it? Studies show that you can change the way you think and contribute to your own success simply by envisioning yourself being successful. Take some time to visualize every step of your transformation journey.
Retrain Your Mind
People have 10,000 words, on average, of self-talk each day. If it’s not out loud, it’s just in the head. What are the things you are saying to yourself? If you want to do something new, you’ve got to have a new thought. Stop yourself from engaging in any negative self-talk. If you notice yourself becoming discouraged, fearful, or unfocused, make an intentional effort to speak positively to yourself. Tell yourself all the reasons you can and should move forward with your goals and dreams.
Renew your thoughts by making these three changes to your daily lifestyle. Regardless of your goals, a positive mindset leads to a positive outcome.

Why we resist the change we have been praying for…

Have you heard the story about the man stranded in a flood? As water rose, he cried out to the Lord, “Save me!” Then, along came a man with a boat. He said, “Hey, jump in the boat. I’ll save you.” The drowning man replied, “No, no, no. I’m crying out to God. The Lord is going to save me.” The man on the boat left. Shortly after that another man on a boat came. The same thing happened. Then, along came a man in a helicopter. He urged the drowning man to grab onto the ladder, but again, the drowning man declined, stating that the Lord would save him.

Of course the man died. He stood before the Lord and said, “What’s the deal? I cried out to you this whole time. I trusted you to save me. I knew you were the savior. You were the one I chose. I was faithful.” Then, God replied “I sent you two men in a boat and a helicopter with a ladder. What else did you want me to do?”
The Lord is supernatural. He has the power to reach down from heaven or work any type of miracle. God is also a very practical. He works through His people. Have you ever been like this drowning man? Have you ever resisted the breakthrough you’ve been crying out for?
There are a couple of reasons why people do not accept the help God sends.
Help may come in a form you don’t recognize.
You may have been expecting it to come in a certain way, much like the man who was in the flood. God often answers the prayer for an oak tree with an acorn. You want a plant, he’s going to give you a seed. God is going to answer in a form that’s smaller, perhaps, than what you have in mind. We need to ask Him for discernment to see the answers to our prayers. God may provide you with an opportunity, but you are still responsible for taking advantage of that blessing. Plant the seed and water it.
Help may require you to embrace some changes.
When you ask for a breakthrough, you are asking for a change. You often resist that change, because even though there are things you want to change, there might be pieces of those things that you want to keep. People like the comfort of the familiar. You have to be willing to let go of everything to let in new answers.
Take advantage of the blessings God has planned for you. Recognize the ways He is answering your prayers, and be prepared to make changes that will impact your life and relationship with Him.

How Christians Can Make A Bigger Impact on Countries

Have you ever been filled with happiness? Have you ever been filled with sadness? Have you ever been filled with anger? I’m sure you have. People see that. Your countenance lets others know what is happening within you. When you’re filled with sadness, you may notice others asking “What’s wrong?” as you enter a room. Likewise, when you are happy, people can see it outwardly. Being filled with the Spirit is similar. To be filled with the Spirit means people will recognize a controlling influence in your life. If people recognize it, that points to the glory of God, and then we can make a difference in society.

When we’re walking filled with the Spirit, we understand the way God says society should be run. Not only do we have the ability to impact those around us on a daily basis, we can impact society and how it is governed. We live in a country that encourages us to participate in decision-making. We have a vote. We have a voice. There are roles in government from the school board all the way to the President, and we should be involved in each one of those things, shining forth, walking in the Spirit.
What about the workplace? What about our businesses? Many people act as though businesses can not thrive when they are labeled “Christian” or have religious affiliation. We have plenty of examples of successful Christian businesses. What if I said “Chick-Fil-A” or “Hobby Lobby”? You know these business names. These are highly successful Christian companies that are showing their Christian principles and practices. I challenge you to do the same.
We have an obligation to show others the love of Christ. It is possible to make a profound impact in this Country. It begins with your personal relationship with God, but you have the ability to reach far beyond yourself.

How To Know When It’s Time To Take An Expense

Many people have difficulty admitting when they are wrong. Trading is an area in which you must become comfortable with admitting when you’ve made a mistake. If you deny that you are wrong and choose to stay in a trade that is not going the way you expected, you risk creating a much bigger expense.

Expenses happen. Take a deep breath, and remember these three things when you find that you were wrong about a stock.
  • Stick with the system. What we want you to do in order to keep with the TRADEway system is to have small expenses. So trade based on lines. Trade based on moving averages. Trade based on the system you have been taught.
  • Be honest with yourself. If your original premise for doing the trade is broken, then don’t convince yourself that something else might work. When that plan is no longer working, have the integrity to go ahead and stop out of that trade. Take the small expense.
  • Get ready for the next trade. It might be difficult to dwell on your mistakes, but take time to analyze the trade and determine how you can avoid a similar situation. View the expense as a learning experience.
Don’t allow pride to affect your trading outcomes. Be ready and willing to admit when you are wrong. Allow each experience to provide you with knowledge that will improve your skills and ultimately lead to the potential for greater success.
