Let The Market Tell You What It’s Doing

In order to have real breakthrough, you must realize the market might not do what you expect. If it doesn’t do what you expect, respond accordingly.

When you respond to the market, you are actually doing what you want to do, even when the market doesn’t do what you expected. You wanted to stop out of a bad trade, right? If you didn’t stop out of it, you would really be doing something you don’t want.
Let the market tell you what it’s doing, not what you think it’s going to do.
Don’t allow yourself to get into a bad position, as you ride it the opposite way, then say, “I don’t even know what the market is doing.” You know what it’s doing. It’s just not doing what you wanted.
Trade based on “should” not “could”.

The Stock Owes Me Money

In stock trading, there will be times when you have done everything you could do to evaluate a trade and it still doesn’t work. Do not consider it a loss. It is an expense. Every business has expenses. You will learn something from it, and it will help you do something differently in the future.

None of us like having expenses. How can we take these expenses and turn them into something that could end up being a little more fun?
What if you were to make a list of the stocks that owe you money?
Rather than looking at it as losing money, tell yourself “Somewhere down the line, I’m going to make back this amount of money, because that stock owes me money.”
If you look at it this way, then it will help soothe a little bit of the pain that might be associated with that stock.
Over time, you can come back to that stock, when things line up, and you get all three legs of the trading table in place, and make money on that play.
You have the opportunity to create a fun experience instead of dwelling on something negative.

How Do I Prepare My Family for Wealth

Statistics have shown that an estimated 70 percent of lottery winners end up going bankrupt within the first 3 – 5 years. Many people think they would not encounter the same issues if they were to become wealthy. At TRADEway, we don’t support the idea of gambling, but we do support our students in learning how to build wealth. Often times our students want to know how they can prepare themselves and their families for becoming wealthy. There are four main principles that are important to learn before building wealth:

Wealth is a privilege, not a right
Wealth is not something that everyone has a right to. People have the right to pursue it. They have the right to go out and try to gain wealth, but they don’t just receive wealth as a right for existing. Because wealth is something people must earn, we should be thankful when we receive that blessing. Deuteronomy tells us that we shall remember our Lord, because it is He that gives us the ability to create wealth. Therefore, anytime we’re creating wealth, we should be thinking of Christ.
Wealth has the power to magnify.
If you are a generous person, you have the ability to be more generous when you have wealth, therefore it will amplify the things that are in your heart. Likewise, if you are a greedy person, your greed will be magnified when you have more with which to be greedy. It is important to understand that money doesn’t “corrupt” people, it compounds what is already in their hearts. That is why it is important to keep your mind and heart focused on the things of God.
Wealth is fleeting.
Wealth is not always permanent. We see this in the stories of many people in the Bible: Joseph, who had to store up for seven years in order to be prepared for seven years of famine; Job, whose wealth was taken from him, but the Lord brought it back. It comes in seasons; there is an ebb and flow to wealth. We should strive to use our money wisely while we are able.
There is a purpose for wealth.
Money is meant to be used as a means to provide for our family. The Bible tells us that if we have not provided for our family, we have denied the faith and we are worse than an infidel. God takes that very seriously. The Bible also says we are supposed to be risk-takers with our money. That means we should use our money to make more money. As we create a profit, we should then use our money to be joyful givers. We should give it to those who are less fortunate. Another way many people do not realize that money should be used is for fun. Those who are wealthy and using money the way God intended should also enjoy the blessings they have been given.
When you build wealth the proper way and manage it according to Biblical principles, you have the ability to make a lasting impact on your own life and the lives of others.

This Is Why Believers Should Embrace Trials

A season of disappointment is the place where God prepares you for what He has prepared for you.

James 1:2-4 says “My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into diverse temptations; Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience. But let patience have her perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, wanting nothing.”
You must recognize three truths about trials.
  • Acknowledge that the trials are part of God’s plan. The trials you endure allow God to lead you to triumph.
  • When you encounter a trial, stop trying to get out of the trial and start learning what God has ordained for you to learn from that trial.
  • Understand that you are a work in progress. You can not see the overall picture. What feels like failure could be the means by which God blesses you beyond your wildest dream.
The purpose of trials is to make you strong enough to stay at a place of success when you get there.

Don’t Steal Someone Else’s Blessing

Sometimes as Christians we do things that we think are good, but actually they’re not. They’re unbiblical.

Do not take away someone else’s blessing. Maybe you’re wondering how you could possibly do that. You can take someone else’s blessing by rejecting the blessings they wish to bestow on you.
Have you ever rejected something that somebody wanted to give you or something that somebody wanted to do for you?
If you do that, you actually stop that other person from stepping into a place of blessing by blessing you. The Lord said, “It is more blessed to give than to receive”? Jf you allow yourself to receive that blessing, it positions you to give as well.
Have you ever rejected the Lord’s blessings?
Perhaps He wanted to give you something. He wanted to do something in your life. You might have thought, “No, Lord. I’m too unworthy. I don’t deserve it. It’s too much. It’s too abundant.” If the Lord places you in a position of abundance, be thankful and humble, then bless others with what He has given you.
Next time you ask yourself: “Should I receive?”, change the question to: “What should I do with it after I receive?”

The New Way To Think About Stock Trading

When it comes to stock trading, a lot of people go into it with the wrong mindset. They think of it as something that they will only apply to their long-term goals.

You can actually apply some of the skill sets you learn with TRADEway to short-term goals. You can stock trade and possibly make money that will help care for your day-to-day needs.
What are your monthly goals? Perhaps you just want the ability to cover your bills, or maybe you want to make a little extra money for vacation.
When you come to a TRADEway event, we teach you how to actively apply stock trading so that you can potentially have an added form of income. Making money in the stock market doesn’t have to be a ‘long-term, building for retirement, diversifying your portfolio’ thing. It can be very active, very day-to-day.
Come to a Tradeway event and learn how you can actively apply stock trading for your short-term goals.

This is why mentorship is so important…

One thing producing successful traders who learn quickly, work effectively and have more long term success is mentorship. It’s not what you win in the market, it’s what you keep in the market that is important. Mentorship is a key element to being successful.

Mentorship gets you to your goal faster. This is the information age. You can Google anything. How many times have you heard the phrase, “Google it”? You can read the information and watch the videos, but it does not replace the benefit of being face to face with the person who is in the position you want to be in. Everyone has different personalities, different strengths and different weaknesses. A mentor is able to engage those things on a personal level. This is a leverage that shortens the learning curve. It expands your ability to do what you’re trying to do, because that mentor is imparting wisdom, tools and lessons that they’ve learned in the process.
If there is an area you want to improve, and certainly in trading, get a mentor. Find someone who can make your breakthrough quicker, more effective and long lasting.

Team Devos: Focus, Fuel, & Fellowship

n Mark 1:35 the Bible says that while it was still dark, Jesus got up, went to a lonely place, and prayed. The example the Lord gave is that, before the day even begins, we come to the Father and spend time alone with him.

Time with God can look many different ways:
  • Read scripture.
  • Worship Him.
  • Talk with Him in prayer.
However you choose to spend time with Him, you’re getting anchored in Him so that when the distractions, the troubles, the sorrows, the opposition, the challenges, even the blessings of the day come, you’re able to navigate all of those things with His guidance and power.
It gives you focus. It fuels your passion for His will.
At TRADEway, as a team, we look into the Word of God, we pray, we fellowship, we get anchored into His presence at the beginning of each day. This helps us to navigate each day together.
We want to seek Him first so we can serve you better.

This is Why Money IS NOT The End Goal

Money is not the goal. There are too many things that money can’t do. It can’t keep you dry in a storm, you can’t eat it, it can’t spread the Gospel, you can’t live in it… There is basically nothing money can do on its own. The great thing about money is that it can always be traded for something of more value; that’s what you use it for.

You always get something more valuable to you than the actual money you are trading. In fact, you can buy clothes, you can buy food, you can pay for a roof over your head, you can fund missions work so that Christians can go out and share the Gospel.
You have probably never said “I want a million dollars so that I can have a million dollars’. You have thought about the things you want to do with that million dollars. Those big goals in life are the things that are more important than money, and that’s why you should focus on those things when you’re pursuing wealth in your finances. Money has no value, but your goals do.

How to Graciously Accept God’s Blessings

o you want to serve God passionately, zealously, and make an impact for His kingdom?

Stop rejecting God’s blessings.
God is good, extremely good. He’s better than you think He is, and He is always pouring out blessings. The question is, are you willing to receive His blessings and allow those blessings to flow through you?
How do you graciously accept God’s blessings?
  • Understand that it’s all paid for by Him. It has nothing to do with whether you or I are worthy, just like salvation. You receive it because of what He has done. He wants to come and be with you, make a difference in you, and change something in you so that you can change the things around you.
  • Recognize that everything you have is from Him. When you recognize God’s grace in your life, your heart will be more prepared to accept those things He gives you.
  • Consider His perfect plan for you. You, and subsequently the blessings you receive, are meant to be used by Him.
Do not worry about receiving too much from God. Instead, worry about what He wants you to do with the things He gives you. How will you impact those around you for Christ’s sake? Graciously accepting God’s blessings is the key to administering God’s grace in its various forms amongst the rest of humanity.
